The photo shows Kevin Patton and his former mentor (in lion taming) John Campolongo at the 18th International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo (1994). John won the coveted Silver Clown award (in John's hand) for his all-lion act --quite an achievement for an American artist.  John is now touring the U.S. with a tiger act.
