Day 3

KILLARNEY-BLARNEY

We thrilled to the spectacular scenery of the Ring of Kerry on a guided excursion around this famous peninsula. Then continued through the rolling hills of Country Cork for an included dinner and overnight at Blarney.

Day 4

BLARNEY -DUBLIN

Began the day with a guided visit to 15th-century Blarney Castle with a chance to kiss the Blarney Stone to receive the gift of eloquence. Then visited the Rock of Cashel -the rocky stronghold that dates back to the 5th century -before continuing on to Dublin for a panoramic guided sightseeing tour. This evening featured an included dinner with Irish Entertainment. Overnight in Dublin.

Day 5

DUBLIN

This morning enjoyed a guided excursion to Glendalough -one of Ireland ’s most picturesque valleys, and the site of a 6th-century monastic settlement. Returned to Dublin for an afternoon at leisure. Dinner on our own and overnight in Dublin.

Day 6

DUBLIN -BELFAST

Departed from Dublin and visited Newgrange -a prehistoric site that dates back to 3200 BC.  Continued on to Northern Ireland and the historic city of Belfast. Day began with a guided sightseeing tour of Edinburgh that included entrance to Edinburgh Castle. Free afternoon to walk along the Royal Mile or explore the shops on fashionable Princes Street. Dinner on our own and overnight in Edinburgh.

All available hotels in Inverness and the Fort William area were booked solid from May 11 - 31 because of the filming of a new Harry Potter movie.

Instead of overnighting in Inverness on Day 09, we spent the night in Aviemore - a Scottish Highlands town close to Glenmore Forest.

Instead of overnighting in Fort William on Day 10, we spent the night in Inveraray, a town in Argyll located on the shore of Loch Fyne.

We  will still visited Inverness and Loch Ness as per the original itinerary.
